Photos From Ohio's Amish Country

Here is one of the many Amish parochial schools in Ohio.  There is firewood stacked on the left side of the building, and there are outhouses for the boys and girls off to the right.  In this photo, the young scholars (that's what Amish people around here call the students) were just letting out for some recess, and two of the girls had already made it to the swing set at the right front corner of the building.  When spring arrives, they'll all be out on the softball diamond.  At this school, those are the two favorite recess activities - swings and softball.
