Here is an Amish man, with three of his Belgian draft horses, walking behind his plow. He is in standard blue denim clothes, and he is wearing his warm weather straw hat. All of the fields visible in this photograph will need to be plowed, and before it is finished, he'll have his older sons and daughters helping with the work. It is quiet, peaceful work, and it is certainly close to the soil.
