News About My Latest Amish-Country Mystery

It has been just a little over two months since the launch of my eighth Amish-Country Mystery,  The Names of Our Tears, and I thought you might like to read some of the news and reviews that the book is generating.  The book has been well received in the literary community that pays attention to mystery novels, and I have written about it on my website (link: www.plgaus.com).

First, an article appeared shortly before my first signing at The Wooster Book Company, and I think that article gave an excellent account of my novels in general, and of my latest novel in particular (link: The Wooster Daily Record).  Second, the book was given a syndicated review in a Boston-area newspaper (link: Cape Anne Beacon News).  Third, a prominent literary critic on the internet reviewed the novel (link: Lesa's Book Critiques).

I also thought you might like to know that I have booked several appearances at libraries and bookstores, starting at the end of August (see the link above to my website), and I will be out on the tour, talking about the novels and about the many interesting Amish people I have met over the years in Holmes County.

In the meantime, I am working on the ninth novel.  I had to take somewhat of a sabbatical while I had shoulder surgery, but I am back at it now, and you will probably see more of me on this blog in the future.
