Photos From Ohio's Amish Country

Here is one of the more modern one-room Amish schoolhouses in Holmes County.  It's on County 77, just south of the Wayne County line.  A prominent feature of this and other Amish schools is the softball diamonds.  And this is one of the better schools, because it has a mudroom at the front entrance.  The separate outhouses for boys and girls are situated to the left, out of the frame of this picture.
