An Amish buggy makes its way along Holmes County Road 77 north of Mt. Hope. This is a busy (too busy) trucking route, and the Amish drivers know to stay well to the right as they clip along at five miles an hour. Along a three mile stretch of this road, there are five parochial schools, and a good time of day to travel here is around 3 pm, when the school kids are walking home. It's a fun sight to see.Labels: Amish, Amish Culture, Amish Photographs, Amish-Country Mysteries, Holmes County, P. L. Gaus
